Bulk editing requests
For engagements with many requests, use bulk operations to save time.
Select multiple requests
- Navigate to the engagement board (List or Board view)
- Check the boxes next to requests you want to edit
- The bulk action toolbar appears at the top
Apply changes
Choose from bulk actions:
- Change status – Move all selected requests to a new workflow stage
- Reassign – Transfer ownership to a different auditor
- Update category – Recategorize multiple requests at once
- Set due date – Apply the same deadline to all selected items
- Delete – Remove multiple requests (with confirmation)
Bulk operations cannot be undone. Review your selection carefully before applying changes.
Best practices
Update as you work
Edit request details in real time rather than batching updates—it keeps everyone informed.
Clarify with comments
When making significant changes, add a comment explaining why to maintain context.
Review before client sharing
Double-check titles, descriptions, and due dates before toggling Share with client.
Use consistent naming
Follow firm conventions for request titles and categories to make searching easier.
