Access the Lasso Tool
Locate the target field
- Open the workflow containing the document and data fields
- Select the specific cell requiring manual extraction or correction
- The cell becomes active and ready for lasso input
Activate the Lasso
- Navigate to the top right-hand corner of the document viewer
- Click the Lasso button to activate manual extraction mode
- Your cursor changes to indicate lasso mode is active
The Lasso tool provides precision when AI extraction misses specific values or you need to override automated results.
Extract values manually
Define the extraction area
- Click and drag your cursor over the specific value on the document
- Highlight only the text or number you want to extract
- Release the cursor once the desired content is selected
The system automatically updates the selected cell to match the content captured by the Lasso tool.
Verify the extraction
- Check that the correct value appears in your cell
- If incorrect, click the lasso again and reselect
- The value updates in real-time as you make changes
