Accessing the Lasso Tool

The Lasso tool allows users to manually capture values from a source document when the automated workflow fails to capture or correctly override a specific field.

Locate the Target Field

1. Open the AgentSync workflow containing the document and associated data fields.
2. Select the specific cell or field that requires manual extraction or correction.

Activate the Lasso

1. Navigate to the top right-hand corner of the document viewer.
2. Click the Lasso button to activate the manual extraction mode.

Manually Extracting Values

Once the Lasso tool is active, you can define the exact data point to be imported into your selected cell.

Define the Extraction Area

1. Click and drag your cursor over the specific value on the document.
2. Release the cursor once the desired text/number is highlighted.

[!TIP] The system will automatically update the value in your selected cell to match the content captured by the Lasso tool.

Advanced Lasso Options

The Lasso tool can be configured for different extraction scopes depending on the document structure.

Choose Lasso Modes

1. Select By Individual Cell for granular, single-point data extraction.
2. Choose By Document Extraction to capture broader data sets across the entire file.
3. Use By Page Extraction to limit manual capture to the current page view.
