Firm

Firms are created automatically when you join Agentive and used to manage your team, branding, clients, and engagements.

Firms

Firms in Agentive represent your company. For audit firms, a firm is created automatically when we onboard your company. From there you invite other auditors from the same domain, configure your branding, and manage how you work across clients and engagements.

Overview

A firm is the home for your audit team inside Agentive. It stores your name, contact details, brand assets, and the list of email domains that count as internal teammates. When auditors sign in with a matching domain, they land in the firm that was created for them when they were first invited to an Agentive period, so everyone shares the same workspace defaults.

Within a firm, you create client organizations that represent the companies you serve. Each client can have one-to-many engagements, and each engagement can have its own mix of team members from your audit firm and from the client firm. This is how you structure the work you do together in Agentive.

Manage firm members

  1. Invite teammates using company email addresses so they join the correct firm automatically.
  2. Promote admins to manage settings like templates, integrations, and authentication.
  3. Deactivate accounts when someone leaves—past work stays intact for your records.

Branding and identification

  • Logos and colors – Upload your firm’s logo and colors once; Agentive will apply them across auditor and client experiences so everything looks and feels like your firm.
  • Contact information – Keep addresses and phone numbers current for engagement letters and notifications.
  • Email domains – List the domains that should be treated as internal (for example, @yourfirm.com). Agentive uses this to recognize auditors during invitations.
  • Short identifiers – Agentive creates short codes for engagements using your firm prefix, keeping URLs clear and unique.

Collaborate with other firms

Sometimes you need outside help:

  • Invite guest auditors from another firm directly to an engagement. They see the auditor experience for that project but remain part of their home firm elsewhere.
  • Control what guests can view by adjusting engagement visibility and participant lists.
